About Blep
A small, independent project that is built and run by one person.
What Blep is
Blep is a home for software made with passion. For now there is only one service, Blep Messenger, a small messenger that lets you control how other users see you. Other projects may follow, but we cannot promise anything.
No ads, no sponsors, no payments
There are no advertisements, no sponsors, no subscriptions and no in-app purchases, and nothing here is for sale. It is a personal project, not a business.
Reliability
Everything runs on a small server. It is looked after, but there is no uptime guarantee: maintenance and outages happen, and the service may change or, one day, stop. Keep a copy of anything you cannot lose.
Why a messenger
The idea for this messenger came from wanting you to easily control how others see you and what information you share with them. Messaging is convenient, but handing someone your account usually means handing over a lot of extra information that you would not always, or not with everyone, want to share. With multiple furs you can keep private contacts apart from official ones, and set aside the people you only know online.
Get in touch
Questions, ideas, bug reports or a privacy request: write to chat at blep.pl. You can also join the “Blep Feedback” group inside the messenger.
